Bamboo shades can be mounted either inside or outside the window frame.
The first thing to consider is the depth of the window frame. Minimum inside-mount depth: 2 3/4″
① Headrail dimensions: 1 3/8″ H × 2 3/8″ D
Valance height:
② For blackout shades 18″ and taller, the valance height is 7 1/8″.
③ Bracket dimensions: 1 1/2″ H × 1 7/8″ D
④ Length of pointed screws (used to secure the brackets to the window frame): 1 3/16″
Easily Install Your Bamboo Shades
Inside frame installation
1. After choosing the installation position, screw into the top of the bracket. You only need to secure 1–2 screw holes at the top
2. Top installation means securing the top; the four holes on the side of the bracket do not need to be fixed
3. Align the openings on both ends of the curtain wooden rail with the long screws on the brackets, then tighten the nuts.
Inside frame installation
1. After choosing the installation position, screw into the top of the bracket. You only need to secure 1–2 screw holes at the top
2. Side mounting refers to fixing the brackets on the side wall. The four holes on the top side of the bracket do not need to be fixed.
3. Align the openings on both ends of the curtain wooden rail with the long screws on the brackets, then tighten the nuts.
